Our mission is to deliver nutritious, delicious meals directly to your door, with the added care and attention from our dedicated volunteers who make personal check-ins with each delivery.

Proudly operating in the Whitehorse City Council area, we support our community through the power of food and connection, with meals meticulously crafted in from various local kitchens to reflect our commitment to quality and local produce.

At Whitehorse Meals on Wheels, we are proud to offer three main menu options to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our clients:
Chilled Menu: Our 4-week rotating chilled menu offers a fresh variety of flavours and nutrients to support your health and well-being. These meals are delivered fresh, ensuring that you enjoy the delightful taste and nutritional benefits of each dish. With the convenience of a rotating menu, you can experience a wide range of meals without repetition, keeping your dining experience enjoyable and varied.

Frozen Menu: For those who prefer the flexibility of having meals on hand, our frozen menu provides a convenient solution. This menu boasts an extensive selection of delicious and nutritious options, carefully prepared and snap-frozen to lock in freshness and flavour. Each meal is ready to heat and enjoy at your convenience, making it easier for you to plan your meals according to your schedule. The frozen menu ensures that you always have access to high-quality meals without the need for daily deliveries.

Texture Modified Menu: Understanding that some individuals may have difficulty chewing or swallowing, we offer a range of texture modified meals. Texture modified meals are designed to suit clients with medically diagnosed Level 4 and Level 5 needs without compromising on taste or nutrition. Whether you require minced, pureed, or soft textured food, our kitchen team ensures that each meal is both delicious and meets your specific dietary requirements. This menu option supports your health and enjoyment of meals, allowing you to dine with dignity and pleasure.

Meal Services through CHSP, HCP
Our dedicated team of volunteers delivers meals directly to clients' homes and other individuals who may have difficulty preparing food for themselves, offering not only sustenance but also a friendly visit and a wellness check. This personal touch helps combat loneliness and ensures that any health concerns are promptly addressed.
 
We offer a variety of meal options, including special dietary accommodations such as

• texture modified
• no added gluten
• no added dairy
• vegetarian meals.

Additionally, we take feedback from our clients to continually improve our offerings and maintain high standards of quality. Our menus are regularly updated to provide variety and to incorporate seasonal ingredients.
